Tubes and insulating tapes
The insulation elements of power lines are key to the protection of birdlife, so we have in our catalogue a wide range of insulating tubes and tapes that protect power lines from external factors, all of them tested with rigorous tests and quality controls.
Tubes
The tubes are made of insulating materials for protection in busbars of equipment or substations, designed against indirect contacts caused by animals or objects. They are temperature resistant from -25 °C to 90 °C. They comply with ANSI C37.20.2.
Tapes
The tapes are used for insulation, repair or sealing of cables. Silicone insulating tape is perfect for repairing cables with impregnated paper insulation, migrant oil or grease barrier, while black rubber tape has high adhesion power on PVC, PE and steel. They comply with MIL-I-46852A.
